The biggest lesson I learned from this mother and daughter photo shoot is that toddlers are a handful to shoot. They are constantly moving around. It was such a mission to get the young one to sit still.

On the bright side, their animation and facial expressions are fun to capture.

We were working with natural light at sunset, which I must admit, didn’t go too well with my camera. Under similar circumstances, I would recommend added lighting. A personal challenge going forward; take sharper images.

Other than that, it’s always an honour to help families capture those little, special moments in their lives.

With love
